Ubisoft has confirmed the development of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and they want to showcase the new version of the game on September 10, 2022 at their Ubisoft Forward event.
After many rumors about the new installment of the Assassin’s Creed game, Ubisoft developers had to officially confirm that they are already working on a new game in the Assassin’s Creed series (by the way, the series is celebrating its 15th anniversary) with the subtitle Mirage. It is noted that this installment will not have RPG elements, but will focus more on stealth mechanics. Currently, the game Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be part of the presentation at Ubisoft Forward.
So far, the game only has a few concept arts, one of which appeared in the Ubisoft Store, which sparked various rumors about the game.
It is noted that the main storyline will take place in Baghdad during the Abbasid Caliphate, and the main protagonist will be Basim Ibn Ishaq, who first appeared in Valhalla. The game may tell the story of his younger years, when they first started training professional assassins like Loki.
The game will come with the DLC “The Quest of the Forty Thieves,” which they want to make based on Arab folklore, inspired by “One Thousand and One Nights.”
