Rebel Cops

A step-by-step tactical police action game from the developers of This Is the Police, in which they have moved away from the visual novel genre and switched to a more active gameplay with elements of stealth action. The plot revolves around the betrayal of the police department, which has bowed to Victor Zuev, a criminal authority. But not all police officers agreed with this arrangement, some principled ones surrendered their badges and engaged in a kind of partisan war. Armed with non-lethal weapons, they track down criminals and handcuff them.

A special stage of the game is the «sandbox», which consists of extensive locations for free exploration (read: looting), where you can find many valuable supplies, but also encounter armed villains. The most valuable items are stored in closed caches and safes, which can be hacked.

The gameplay is connected with challenging ethical questions that blur the line between Zuev’s methods and legality, which side will you and your Squad choose, and will you be able to maintain this distinction? The game allows for different approaches to solving tasks, and if the player abuses their power and acts as roughly as a bandit, in the end, the citizens will smear their name in the mud, which will affect trade relations and may impact the loyalty of their own group members.
