Want to enjoy the cartoon sketches of the 1930s? Cuphead will help you with that, as they dared to release a platformer. Naturally, they only benefited from it: the game design was well-liked, and people wanted to play it just because of the visuals. However, there was a “BUT” – many gamers couldn’t even defeat the first enemy. Despite the impressive brightness of the cartoonish image, it is not accurate to call Cuphead a children’s game.

So, as it is known, there is nothing positive in gambling. The main characters realize this as soon as they lose a bet to the Devil himself. The heroes have two options – go straight to hell or “work off” their losses by working for the dark forces as debt collectors. The gamer (the game allows for co-op gameplay) needs to collect debts by any means necessary. The problem is that no Debtor wants to pay their debts to the Devil.

Each stage in the game is a challenging boss that requires individual solutions. Before taking action, the player needs to feel out the subtle threads, determine the abilities of the enemy, and only then can they proceed with decisive actions. The player will have to develop their own behavior, tactics, and strategy. The player’s actions will lead to victory or defeat. Losing is a chance to start over.
