The announcement of Call of Duty 2021 should happen this month. August will be busy with updates, although many have said that season 5 will be postponed due to the lawsuit and litigation with Activision.
Content is likely to be cut from Warzone. We learned this from Bobby Kotik’s letter, this is some kind of inappropriate (provocative, vulgar, objectifying) content.
Bobby Kotick addressed the workers: He did it in an open letter, which was then published by Activision. He promised to make sure that everyone was comfortable working, everyone had equal employment rights, and so on.

Honestly, I have no idea what it could be, probably some too hot skins of female operators. If you dig really deep, then a tea bag and middle finger are also offensive.
I hope they remove it minimally.
But content from Warzone has already been cut, albeit for different reasons.

- — Armored truck, remember they were added in season 2 or 3 of The CW, just as vehicles sometimes on the map. And where are they?
- — A helicopter with a machine gun, well, it was cut out 6 times.
- — The turret, it seems to have been removed due to vulnerability, but never returned
- — Counter UAV, remember this in season 6? It wasn’t even released

Continuing the theme of cut content and the potential of the engine
The MW 19 engine is technically very complex and cool and will fully reveal itself only by the time Call of Duty is no longer released on old consoles (PS4, Xbox one). In MW19 it was cut down, in COD2021 it will have new features, but not a full-fledged one.
But from Modern Warfare’s alpha and beta, we know of a few features that never made it to release:
- – Recoil depending on the position of the player. Yes, there was such a function while standing — a strong return, sitting is average, and lying down is minimal. I think it was removed because with the abundance of modules it was difficult to make it a permanent indicator, although they may introduce it later.
- – Operators said a lot more, it’s good that this feature was removed, because in beta it constantly gave out the position of the players.
- — Seasons with a concept, in the game files, the seasons of Modern Warfare had names like: chemical attack, broken arrow, climate wars. There is something like this with CW seasons, we had snow, jungle, desert, but it’s more of a style, and these mesons seemed to change the content.
- — Night vision goggles, well, you can sometimes play this in Modern Warfare and these are cool modes, but why didn’t they make it to Warzone? Remember how cool Verdansk was at night? Glasses would have been better.
- – Well, they didn’t cut it out, but changed it, but initially the Handicap perk was in the first category.
