S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat is the third game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, based on the book «Stalker’s Technology» by Andrei Tarkovsky. The game takes place in the exclusion zone, where an anomalous stone known as the Chernobyl stone was found. The player takes on the role of Mikhail Zaitsev, who was sent to Chernobyl on a mission for Boris Berezovsky’s agency.
One of the features of Call of Pripyat is that it offers a more realistic and vibrant world than the previous installments of the series. The game world is populated not only by monsters and anomalies, but also by normal people who live their lives and perform their ordinary tasks. The game also features a day and night cycle, as well as weather conditions that can affect the gameplay process.
