The Elder Scrolls VI / The Elder Scrolls 6

According to the developer’s words, The Elder Scrolls VI / The Elder Scrolls 6 will implement many gameplay decisions that have not been seen in similar genre games before. Currently, the 6th installment of The Elder Scrolls 6 is still in the development stage, but Todd Howard (project lead) claims that gamers will receive «much more than they expect» after the official release.

In August 2016, Pete Hines (one of the leaders of Bethesda) stated that The Elder Scrolls VI was not being developed at all, but in 2017, he announced that «in the distant future, we will still start working on the sixth installment of this game,» as the development team is currently focused on other equally interesting projects.

In 2018, it became known that The Elder Scrolls 6 is in the «pre-production» stage and there is no playable version available for testing yet. He also stated that «the technologies needed to implement everything planned are gradually approaching, and soon we will be able to continue.» In the same year, it was announced that a teaser for The Elder Scrolls 6 appeared at E3, and the developers clarified that they are actively working on the in-game world. As of 2021, the game is still in development, and as soon as more details become known, you will be the first to hear about it.
