TukTuk is a 2D side-scrolling game that focuses on precise and unique platforming and battles. TukTuk has a cool learning curve, but the game has a fast-paced action that becomes more intense as your mastery grows. TukTuk is primarily designed for experienced players, but even inexperienced players can navigate through the challenges with the help of TukTuk’s mother.

TukTuk and her mother travel through space on different spaceships. Suddenly, a meteor crashes into TukTuk’s mother’s ship, forcing her to make an emergency landing. TukTuk sets out on a mission to find her mother. Is her mother okay? And what troubles will TukTuk encounter on this unknown planet? That’s for you to find out…

The game encourages a creative approach in the platforming sections, and for this, various tools exist. Especially after the first playthrough, the tasks and how the player solves them become more open-ended, allowing you to fly through levels as you please. Each area is unique (unless it’s filler) and designed to keep the experience fresh and interesting. Additionally, the camera uses a very unique gameplay style that needs to be experienced to be understood.

In addition to platforming, throughout the game, you will encounter enemies. The upgrade system allows you to choose what you want to focus on — battles, platforming, or both — and lets you decide how you want to play the game. If you get stuck, there’s always the option to revisit other levels and collect Lua, the in-game currency.
