It is important to note that Wolfenstein 3D is the third installment in the series and the first game among FPS games.
Plotline:
The events transport the player to the times of World War II. The main character is a Jewish man named William Blazkowicz, who is an American spy. During the execution of the «Operation Eisenfaust,» he gets captured by the SS. His place of imprisonment becomes Castle Wolfenstein, where dark events take place. After some time, William escapes from the castle, foiling all the plans of the Nazis and killing Adolf Hitler.
Game objectives:
Wolfenstein 3D consists of 3 episodes, each divided into 10 levels. Each level is a complex maze of numerous rooms, open spaces, walls, and doors. It is worth noting that each maze has secret doors hiding bonuses. However, after completing the level almost to the end, the gamer should not relax because a boss battle awaits them.
