Curse of the Sea Rats

“The Curse of the Ratfish” is an adventure platformer with hand-drawn animation, featuring four British prisoners who have been transformed into rats by the witch-pirate Flora Byrne.

They strive to regain their human bodies, but in order to do so, they must battle dangerous bosses, uncover the secrets of the Irish coast, and ultimately capture the witch who cursed them.

The unique hand-drawn 2D animation makes the game characters highly realistic. Artists were inspired by classic cartoons and games from the golden age of 2D platformers. The animation seamlessly blends with the intricately detailed 3D environment, and lighting and shadows create a pseudo-3D effect that leaves an incredible impression.

Travel through the diverse non-linear world of the game, trying to find the witch-pirate who cursed you. You have found yourself in a catastrophe on the shores of 18th century Ireland, and you will need more than just the ability to wield a pirate sword to escape to freedom.
