Publisher 2K and toy manufacturer LEGO have unveiled the open-world car adventure LEGO 2K Drive.
Judging by the trailer, it’s a wild mix of traditional LEGO games with vehicle and environment building and destruction, racing similar to Mario Kart, and an open world reminiscent of Forza Horizon 4: Lego Speed Champions with a ton of additional activities.
LEGO 2K Drive is developed by Visual Concepts Entertainment, the studio behind 2K’s sports simulators like WWE 2K23 and NBA 2K23.
The game is set to release on May 19, 2023, on all possible platforms – Windows PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Pre-orders are already open, but the prices are steep. The standard edition of LEGO 2K Drive costs 1,799 UAH on Steam, the LEGO 2K Drive Awesome Edition with a one-year season pass and access to first-year DLC is priced at 2,599 UAH, and the LEGO 2K Drive Awesome Rivals with additional cars and figurines costs 2,999 UAH.
