The process of creating the remake took a very long time, starting in 2015, but the result was definitely worth the wait.

The plot revolves around a virus that escaped from a secret laboratory center, turning the population of Raccoon City into bloodthirsty zombies. Players will have the opportunity to play as rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy or young student Claire Redfield. The order in which the game is played in either role does not matter. The gameplay is divided into two parts, each dedicated to a hero or heroine.

The eerie atmosphere is realistically conveyed through cool graphics and impressive sound effects, and the oppressive environmental elements also deserve the highest praise. The weapons supply is not infinite: firearms are only used in extreme cases, players have a small arsenal of melee weapons that also wear out with active use. The game places a strong emphasis on action elements. Each hero will have their own special weapons. Location exploration and puzzle solving are still present, so players will not have a chance to get bored. Unlike previous installments, the game focuses heavily on improved graphics and gameplay.
