Developers announced that old maps will return to Modern Warfare.

In one of the recent updates, Call of Duty developers removed several maps from the game. Players expressed their discontent with the new changes, urging for the return of the old maps in Modern Warfare.

Infinity Ward is keen on bringing back the maps that were taken out of CoD Modern Warfare, but after a few fixes. At the end of March, three multiplayer maps—Killhouse, Al-Raab Airbase, and Drainage—suddenly appeared in CoD MW. While Killhouse remains in the game to this day, the other two vanished without a trace. Infinity Ward broke their silence, informing players that Drainage and Al-Raab Airbase would make a comeback after some necessary fixes.

The developers also mentioned that these maps are not yet ready for their re-entry into the game. Players can only wait in anticipation for the day when these two maps are reintroduced. As for comments regarding the addition and removal of weapons like the CX-9, Sykov, and RAL, Infinity Ward remained tight-lipped.

Additionally, the company revealed that this weekend, Cold War and CoD Warzone will offer double XP. Players will have the opportunity to level up their accounts, weapons, and battle passes more swiftly. This event is set to celebrate the conclusion of Season 2 and is scheduled for April 16-19.

Furthermore, a new feature called “Gunsmith Customs” has been introduced in Black Ops Cold War. This feature allows players to craft their own weapons by combining various blueprint elements. Creative gamers will find this feature particularly useful. In conclusion, here’s wishing all players a fantastic weekend and urging them to make the most of the bonuses available during these days!
