Valorant now has a ranking system.
Before the release of the latest Valorant update — 1.02, gamers were eagerly anticipating the introduction of a ranking mode. However, just a couple of days before the update, developers announced an error that forced the long-awaited feature to be postponed.
Now, these gamers “have reason to rejoice” as the wait for the ranking system didn’t last too long. Literally a day after the developers’ announcement, ranks for different players were finally introduced into the game (as part of a mini-update).
Comparing this update to the beta version, the game mode has now undergone the following changes:
- The ranking system boasts enhanced, detailed, and meticulously crafted visual elements.
- The highest rank — “Radiant” — has been implemented to incentivize gamers to progress in the game.
- There’s an increased difference in terms of skill levels during team calibration matches.
