Days Gone

The desktop game Days Gone is a zombie action game with stealth elements. The main character here is Deacon St. John, a traveler who hunts bounties.

According to the plot of Days Gone, after starting the game, you find yourself on the coast of North America, 2 years after the world «drowned» in a global pandemic that killed most of the planet’s inhabitants. At the same time, the virus turned millions of people into freakers — soulless bloodthirsty zombies who no longer have any feelings, and their main goal is to kill you. Some animals have also been affected by the virus, so you constantly have to be on guard.

The main danger that awaits you in Days Gone is hordes of monsters that will literally follow you. But fortunately, you will have a powerful arsenal of weapons and special items that can lure and destroy these monsters. But it’s not as simple as it may seem at first, so be prepared to give it your all, demonstrating «master classes» in combat and simultaneously saving the still normal people who managed to survive in this apocalypse.

The creation, released only last spring for portable platforms, pleasantly surprised gamers. The developer plans to make a version of the game «Past Days» for PC as well.

The game’s plot describes the world 2 years after the start of a global epidemic that turned the planet’s population into freaks — essentially living zombies. Unlike other games, here the infected did not die, but simply behave inadequately due to the illness. At the center of the events is Deacon St. John, previously known for criminal activities as a biker. In the conditions of the pandemic, he had to adapt to a new life and now works as a mercenary.

Due to problems with the freaks, the survivors long ago stopped living in a civilized world. Among them are normal people trying to preserve shreds of honesty and principles in this difficult world, but most of them simply rob and kill. On his cool bike, which the player can customize with tuning, Deacon travels through the game universe and searches for the meaning of life.
