The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is a multiplayer role-playing game developed and published by ZeniMax Online Studios. It is part of The Elder Scrolls series, known for its vast open worlds, diverse quests, and deep character development system.

In ESO, players can travel through the world of Tamriel and engage in battles with various enemies, complete quests, gather resources, and develop their characters by choosing from different classes, races, and abilities. Players can also compete in PvP battles and complete group tasks with other players.

Parallel to this plot, Molag Bal, a Daedric Prince, seeks to reunite Nirn with his realm — Coldharbour, and make all the inhabitants of the planet his slaves.

Combat skills are based on proficiency with various weapons. They are improved by accumulating skill points and are divided into active and passive skills. The hero earns points to enhance abilities by leveling up, completing missions, earning rank in the Alliance War, and through collectible items called Skyshards. The user has access to 509 standard levels and 3600 Champion Points.

The game features melee and ranged weapons and equipment. Players can use swords, daggers, axes, bows, and magical staves for long-range and magical attacks. Shields can be used for defense when using melee weapons. The character is protected by various types of armor — dozens of varieties. Swords, slings, and other offensive and defensive items periodically need to be repaired.
