Everyone has long known this game series, the first part of which was released in the distant 2014. Almost everyone has played them and been scared. Of course, this version of Five Nights at Freddy’s in augmented reality can boast the same. As you know, the game is full of scary jump scares. All games in the series have very simple gameplay and overall stylistics. At first, everyone was puzzled how such a simple game could have such high ratings. It turned out that it definitely can. Each subsequent installment of the franchise was accompanied by even greater anticipation among fans than the previous one.
This game is not recommended for the faint-hearted or overly sensitive people, as the game constantly keeps you on edge. You play as a poor security guard who must survive until 6:00 am. You sit in your place in front of the cameras. But you shouldn’t get distracted from them too often, as the animatronics can start their deadly march towards your location at any moment. With each playthrough, it will seem like the night lasts endlessly. You won’t have a chance to hide anywhere, as your room will be locked.
The app includes all games from the franchise. Unlike the originals, the games have two visualization modes – normal and ultraviolet. The user can switch between them at any time. When activating the ultraviolet mode, the colors of the environment change from more mundane to various glowing shades with a predominance of red and blue colors, and the level progression becomes more challenging and different from the original versions.
In all games, the main character is Freddy, hired as a security guard in a creepy horror attraction inhabited by various monsters – harmless or dangerous. Depending on the version, Freddy needs to deal with them differently in order to survive the specified number of nights. In some cases, he simply needs to keep the monster out of a certain room, while in others, he needs to prevent them from getting close to him.
Defending against the animatronics requires different tools and methods. For example, you can use video surveillance and microphones, close and open doors, and illuminate dark areas with a flashlight. After the hero survives the last night and completes the task, his shift ends, and the user completes the game.
