S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky is a continuation of the events that took place in the Zone in the last few years since the original first part.
We remember that S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl tells us about peaceful times, but it wasn’t always like that, and that’s exactly what the “Clear Sky” part tells us, when the Zone was much more hostile.
Active anomalies, terrifying elements, and landscapes everywhere. The appearance of spatial rifts that allowed monsters to teleport and entire expeditions of different stalkers to disappear. Thus, “Clear Sky” offers at least 50% new territories and battles.
Developers from RemasterStudio have created their beta version of the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, where they added support for the X-Ray Engine and new graphic solutions.
The remaster works on a 64-bit engine, which shows more efficient gameplay, making it more stable and faster.
STALKER Clear Sky Remaster has added new Ultra HD textures. It is worth noting that support for 2K, 4K, and 8K textures has been introduced. However, not all elements support 4K textures.
New features have been added that improve the NPC models and some mutants. Modders have added over 30-70 polygons for mutants and various NPCs, while the standard ones had 20-40K polygons.
STALKER Clear Sky Remaster is more advanced and has its own skyboxes, modern effects, and additional lighting. It is worth noting that the map now has more foliage, grass, and new HD textures. It also features its own weather and soft shadows for objects.
Unfortunately, this first version of STALKER Clear Sky Remaster is only available to RemasterStudio Silver Patreon members. However, once the mod exits the beta phase, the modder will release it to the public.
