Pixar Animation Studios has delighted fans with a new trailer for the short film “Carl’s Date,” a spin-off of the animated movie “Up.” The trailer is now available on YouTube.
Interestingly, the short film was initially supposed to be the final episode of the animated series “Dug Days,” but Pixar’s management decided to release it separately. The new film will be shown in theaters alongside the animated movie “Elementary.”
The plot of the short film revolves around Carl, one of the main characters from “Up,” as he prepares for his first date after the death of his wife. However, he is unsure how to behave on the date. The character is voiced by the famous Edward Asner, a five-time Golden Globe winner, in one of his final roles.
