Quake III Arena (Quake 3 Arena)

The Arena was built by mysterious masters in the distant past to satisfy Vadrigar’s insatiable hunger for slaughter. Now, the user must enter into battle with the most powerful warriors in history who inhabit it. With over 30 types of opponents, each with the sole goal of survival.

The only rule in the arena is to kill or be killed. Fortunately, Vadrigar guarantees that anyone who dies is immediately resurrected and returned to the battle, refusing to accept death as an escape from combat.

The game offers a wide selection of weapons, both firearms and melee. There are three types of armor that uniquely affect defense, and the arena is scattered with over half a dozen bonuses that provide enhanced combat abilities, from invisibility to flight.

It offers both single-player and multiplayer modes, although the game is primarily designed for team competitions. In single-player mode, the objective is to defeat computer-controlled opponents on each level and “unlock” more challenging missions.
