Almost two years ago, Ubisoft announced its new shooter XDefiant, which became an unexpected project. But now the company is ready to release it, and yesterday we learned new details about the game.
One of the features of XDefiant is the presence of factions from other Ubisoft games, such as Echelon from Splinter Cell, Libertad from Far Cry 6, Cleaners from The Division, Phantoms from Ghost Recon, and Dedsec from Watch Dogs. Each faction has its own weapons, abilities, and characteristics.
Currently, the game has 14 maps and five modes, and it is also known for its dynamic gameplay and variety, which leads to comparisons with Call of Duty. However, the game does not offer anything new or original, which is its problem.
The game is already in closed beta testing, which will last until April 23rd. The developers have not yet announced the full release date, but we know that the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One in a free-to-play mode.
Below are the main features of the game XDefiant:
- Factions from other Ubisoft games
- 14 maps and 5 modes
- Dynamic and diverse gameplay
- Available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One
- Free-to-play mode
