More Information on Vanguard

  • Dynamic interiors, meaning a grenade will scatter furniture in a room, unlike before
  • In the trailer, locations included Japan, Africa, and the Pacific Ocean
  • Doors are making a return, using the MW2019 engine, but now they can be destroyed, and this feature is likely to be added to Warzone
  • One of the missions is “D-Day,” where a plane crashes into the water, and you must crawl to the shore to retrieve an enemy Kar 98k
  • Shooting from support will also be available

Here’s some new information

  • There won’t be a Warzone announcement. Activision promised, but it seems something went wrong. An event will likely take place closer to the Vanguard release.
  • Alpha is within a month, and Beta in October
  • The campaign is set after the end of World War II, with the main villains being remnants of the Gestapo (a fascist organization). It appears our team of four is a Squad of Allied forces hunting down fascists.
  • The main antagonist is Müller. Also, there’s an illustration of an African American soldier from the U.S. who parachuted into Normandy on D-Day and received many awards; such events did happen.

  • Campaign focuses on four soldiers, but there won’t be cooperative campaign gameplay
  • Cooperative gameplay will be in the Zombies mode, developed by Treyarch, and part of the Dark Aether storyline
  • Real swastikas will be featured, not crosses
  • The game aims for historical accuracy and a dark and brutal campaign

Multiplayer:

  • Dynamic weather
  • 24 starting maps for various modes
  • SBMM (Skill-Based Matchmaking) remains the same
  • Large-scale mode combines elements from Ground War (MW2019) and Combined Arms (CW)

Those who have seen it say it’s all very impressive, and Call of Duty fans can expect a truly great game.
