Call of Duty: Vanguard: Promised Additions Missing in Beta

Call of Duty: Vanguard’s beta testing concluded on September 22, 2021, at 22:00 MSK. Currently, playing Call of Duty: Vanguard is not possible as the servers are offline, and the developers have hidden the option to access the game.

So, what did we get in the end? A shooter on the MW engine set in World War II with a storyline (which was absent during the beta). The developers promised us remote-controlled tanks with explosives and military vehicles, but none of this was available in the beta version, leaving players unable to evaluate this aspect.

If you’re eagerly waiting for tanks and military vehicles, while the developers are still working on it, we recommend checking out free tank games on quicksave.su. We play them ourselves in between matches.

It’s worth noting that in addition to tanks, the game promised to introduce a new enhanced weapon system, a fully updated system of parameters for battles, and the expansion of the “Champions’ Battle” mode in terms of players and additional rewards.

However, as we know, trusting studios like Activision and Sledgehammer Games can be a bit tricky. They’ve shown some loyalty to the player community, but there are still some issues. Remember when they promised additional levels in the Battle Pass for beta participation? Those were only given after the beta test ended, not during.

And the beta itself revealed the studio’s attitude towards players. It’s worth mentioning that PC players who pre-ordered didn’t get “alpha and beta access” as promised. The first platforms to receive access were PS, while PC came last, and it was handed out to all platforms simultaneously after 2 days.

In addition, the unusual move of giving almost everyone a registration code for the beta meant that both those who bought the game and those who received it for free played it. This eliminated the advantage of those who had purchased it.

Currently, opinions are divided. Some say the game is fantastic, with new modes, weapons, settings, and additions. Others claim it doesn’t differ much from previous series entries, and any changes are minor. However, the beta has yet to reveal the full potential of the upcoming game, and we’ll find out on November 5, 2021, when the game is released.

We hope that the developers can iron out the bugs and add new unique content. Our opinion is that the game is worth its price, despite its issues and shortcomings. However, keep in mind that we’ve only played the beta version, which is not a complete product. A full assessment can be made upon release.
