Dataminers Find Files for New Maps

It’s time for datamining.

We are expecting 2 new maps or something similar.

A new file has appeared – “mp_escape3,” which is likely some variation of Rebirth Island, as “mp_escape2” is the daytime island, and “mp_escape2_pm” is the nighttime island from 2020.

Also, “mp_st_f” – could be a mod, but the manner suggests it might be a map. It might be something temporary.

New significant event

In the code, there’s the name “X2,” which is likely an announcement for the new Call of Duty because “X1_fin” was the announcement for Black Ops Cold War.

The event includes:

“Scr_x2_duration_fade_out_movie” – probably a cinematic, trailer, or cutscene.

“Armored train” – sounds very World War II.

“Ambushes” – some ambushes.

Just a reminder, datamines are things found in the game’s code. They are often misinterpreted or incorrect, but sometimes they turn out to be accurate. Everything presented above sounds reasonable.
