Ban for 39 million rubles: the story of a CS:GO trader and his struggle for an account
The story of CS:GO trader Gergeli Szabo has become a topic of conversation among gamers after his Steam account was suspended due to the mention of a third-party marketplace in a comment on another user’s profile. The trader temporarily lost access to inventory, the cost of which was 39 million rubles.
According to Gergeli, it all happened just minutes after he left a comment on another guy’s page. In his comment, he mentioned that he bought the item on a third-party site and asked to fix the broken trade link.
However, Steam moderators decided that such an action looked suspicious and blocked Gergeli’s account. The trader quickly contacted Steam support and, thanks to his perseverance, after a while he managed to unlock his account.
