CEO Virtus.Pro spoke about the changes in the composition and plans of the team for the near future
In an interview with the media and fans, Virtus.Pro CEO Nikolay Petrosyan answered several questions regarding the recent changes in the team and its plans for the near future. Here is what he said:
- Why was it decided to replace KaiR0N- with n0rb3r7? Since the results of two of the first three matches on RMR turned out to be unacceptable for Virtus.pro, it was decided to replace KaiR0N-. This decision was made by the coaching staff and agreed with the club’s management. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time to seamlessly fit KaiR0N- into the team’s complex machinery, and the pressure of responsibility on RMR made matters worse.
- Did visa problems cause the replacement? No, visa problems did not cause the replacement. It was originally planned that KaiR0N- would play at RMR and the Major, but it was impossible to plan this with unresolved visa issues.
- What will happen to the team and active roster? The team will be preparing for subsequent tournaments, the first of which will be IEM Rio 2023. In the near future, we will find out with which lineup we will go to the tournament. We will get back in shape and prepare to return to the top.
- About the “ban” on players to comment on the replacement on the third game day. For the time being, the team should focus on identifying the reasons for the poor performance and finding ways to solve the problems that have arisen. Therefore, on these days, players will be less likely to be distracted by media, social networks and comments. The team has no secrets from its fans, but at the moment the team really needs peace and quiet.
