Counter-Strike: ESportsBattle Match-Fixing Scandal Unveiled

There is a certain league in Counter-Strike, ESportsBattle. If you watch their games, you can understand that these guys are just playing for profit, often losing more than they should. It’s their right, but today we’ll talk about something else – contract matches in Counter-Strike. ESportsBattle sells out and scams people, and here’s how the scheme works.

Counter-Strike. ESportsBattle and Telegram: @esbcsgo

It all starts with a simple approach. You come across an account named Counter-Strike. ESportsBattle, claiming to have insider information. They promise you one free prediction and won’t ask for payment, saying they do things fairly. A 100% victory is guaranteed. If it doesn’t happen, they’ll blame it on last-minute changes, which rarely occur. You fall for this child’s play just to make easy money on bets.

They send you a photoshopped screenshot where people bet 15-35k and win with odds of 1.8+. They make it even more tempting.

After a couple of successful predictions, they’ll ask for payments of 5000 rubles or more, through Qiwi at +79110190240 or the card 418980******7513 (the full address will be provided later, and the card may change).

They offer a deal to buy three bets upfront for not 15,000 but 12,000 rubles. It sounds enticing if you’ve won several times in a row, and you start believing in this nonsense, paying them the money. They claim that during breaks between games, their insider leaks information about which team will lose in ESportsBattle.

If the prediction doesn’t come true, they’ll block you and erase all history.

Scammer’s number: +79110190240 on Qiwi

Here, it’s even simpler. They ask you to top up the same number that the scammer used. If you try to contact them, they’ll deny any wrongdoing and say they have nothing to do with it.

They will start giving advice, recommendations, and more, even revealing where to bet, even though no one told them. This way, they expose themselves as the same person. They claim to be only money transfer agents and show a transaction screenshot as if they’ve already transferred the money from one Qiwi to another, saying they are not involved.

Then, they will share conversations, supposedly with another person who was scammed by ESportsBattle. But they do it poorly, trying to forward a chat from http://t.me/@esbcsgo but accidentally forwarding their own conversation and another victim’s – http://t.me/@m0stpal0ne, who also scams people on bets for Parimatch through ESportsBattle. They claim to have 100% accurate predictions for 2v2 games but will scam your money and sell access to private chats and Telegram groups: http://t.me/chatesb, https://t.me/stariystavit, where you can supposedly make easy money on Parimatch.

By sheer coincidence, our victim happens to be the same person with the number +79110190240, who claimed that he had nothing to do with it but was part of the last group.

Scammers in contract matches will gain your trust by any means, but don’t fall for it. Share the numbers, accounts, and details of these scammers in the comments so that more people know about these “heroes.”
