The International 10 for Dota 2 Will Take Place in Bucharest. It’s Been Moved to Autumn

The organizers of a major esports tournament dedicated to the MOBA game Dota 2 were unable to reach an agreement with the government of Sweden. This epic event was originally scheduled to take place in Sweden in August. However, due to the inability to hold the tournament within the specified timeframe, Valve, the organizing company, announced that the tournament would be postponed, with a change in the venue and dates.

Developers announced that the tournament will now be held in Bucharest. The National Stadium of this city will serve as the venue for the esports showdown. Adjustments were also made to the event schedule, pushing it from late summer to mid-fall of this year. Based on the updated schedule, the group stage will begin on October 7th and run until the 10th of the same month. The main part of the competition will take place on October 12th. It’s worth noting that the prize pool for the upcoming event is $40,018,195.
