Ricochet Hacked.

Some employee leaked the source code of the anti-cheat, and cheat developers were able to crack it. This is a terrible piece of news, but Activision may be able to fix the issue. Plus, there is still server-side protection, which is even smarter. It seems so, but more on that later.

Did you also know that the entire IW8 code is available on the internet? That’s precisely why it’s so easy to break. Let’s hope Activision doesn’t mess up.

Alternative opinion: this is a Trojan horse; nobody leaks things of this format in reality, the next day after the announcement. Alternative opinion 2: it’s all nonsense, and nothing was leaked.

It seems that no one leaked anything, and it’s just cheating companies creating this kind of marketing for themselves. But the anti-cheat will definitely be cracked, and it will be a constant war between cheat producers and the anti-cheat department.
