Sony Sends Invitations for Beta Testing of Firmware 9.0 for PS4.

One user has shared information that they received an email with a code for installing a patch.

According to their words, it can be concluded that this update will bring several changes:

• The ability to view PS5 trophies on PS4 will be introduced.
• Creators of group chats will have the ability to delete messages.
• When you block another person, you’ll have the option to leave all group chats that include the blocked person.
• If a child wants to obtain communication privileges in a game, parents will be notified through the PlayStation App.

With this patch, the company is showing users that they haven’t forgotten about the PS4. Not as many people have transitioned to the PS5 yet, so Sony can’t just abandon the previous console version.
