Tencent Games Officially Unveil Their Largest Tournament

Recently, there was news about the upcoming championship in the mobile game “PUBG Mobile” – the PUBG Mobile Global Championship. James Yang, the director of Tencent Games’ esports division for PUBG, told us that this event will surpass previous achievements and become the biggest in the game’s history. The prize pool is an impressive $6 million, which participants will compete for. The strongest team that earns the title of the best in the world in the “PUBG Mobile” universe in 2021 will be the winner. This tournament will take place from November 2021 to January 2022. It’s worth noting that such a large prize pool is rare in the mobile gaming industry. Not every tournament, even on a similar scale, offers several million dollars in prize money. Events like this in the world of mobile PUBG will only promote the industry.

As per the standard, similar to the previous tournament, PMGC 2021 will consist of two parts: the league and the finals. It is already known that league matches will be held in November – December 2021, and the finals will take place in January 2022.
