The release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be released on May 25

After a rather long development process, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum finally got a release date. Based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy, the stealth action game will be available to players on May 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X platforms. The Switch version will be released later this year.

You will learn the story of Golum’s quest to find his goldenrod. The story takes place during the first few chapters of The Fellowship of the Ring. Gollum is clearly not a great fighter, so you’ll have to sneak and climb to survive. However, the battle inside his mind plays a key role. You’ll have to choose between giving in to Gollum’s dark impulses or grabbing onto the remnants of Smeagol’s kindness.

Let me remind you that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was presented back in 2019. Back then, it was planned that the game would be ready in 2021. Later, the release was postponed to September 2022, but the developer Daedalic needed additional time to put everything in order.
