The new game about Lara Croft will be released on Unreal Engine 5. Following this, Epic Games has unveiled their latest game engine, Unreal Engine 5. During the presentation, it was revealed that some older games would be re-released on this new engine, while all future games would utilize it.

Game Development Details

For instance, the new Lara Croft game is being developed by Crystal Dynamics. Interestingly, the previous installment, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, was released without involvement from this studio.

Release Date and Platforms

As of now, there’s no information on when the project will be completed due to the absence of a storyline and release date. However, the game is set to launch simultaneously on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, all powered by the new Unreal Engine 5.
