Analyzing ESL Pro League Matches on March 15, 2023

Let’s talk about the matches we’ve watched. Let’s break it down.

Astralis vs Spirit

In most aspects, Spirit seemed to outshine Astralis: round speed and efficiency, player shooting and movements, confidence, and map pool. Astralis played surprisingly uninterestingly, and even Dev1ce lost duels to w0nderful, as I mentioned before. (I don’t even know if Spirit is great or Astralis is bad … But I can say that Spirit is definitely prepared. They look much fresher. I’m not even sorry for the forecast errors; it’s kind of a default)) One player who deserves praise is w0nderful. He was accurate, unpredictable, agile, and GOOD. For instance, in head-to-head duels against dev1ce, he won 10:4 on 2 maps, which is quite a performance. We’re waiting for a stronger opponent!). If this trend continues, Spirit will make it to the Play-offs.

NaVi vs Forze

I didn’t watch this match for obvious reasons, but Forze has a decent Inferno map with strong performances (53 in a year). All they needed to do was secure Ancient. And they took the last 79 rounds. Tell me the rest in the comments; I’m interested.

Liquid vs Rare Atom

The Chinese are certainly the heroes of the evening, gifting us with such upsets we haven’t seen in a while. It’s clear they are a top team in their region, but what’s crucial is not What they did but How they did it: Their K/D ratios were much fresher across the board. Their shooting was several notches better, a lively atmosphere, slick mid-round rotations, and unwavering determination even after moments like Ekinder’s 1v4. I strongly hope, even pray, that they continue at this pace. They CAN make it to the Play-offs and finally give us a competitive Chinese team.

ATK vs ENCE

The match is still ongoing, but ENCE hasn’t found their VTG (vintage) yet. Maybe there will be another sensation. If anything, I’ll provide an update.

Sorry for the long spiel, if anything))
