Dota 2 Update April 21, 2023: What’s New in Patch 7.33: Dota 2, one of the most popular online games in the world, has finally received its most anticipated update – Patch 7.33! Valve’s developers have improved the matchmaking system to provide players with a more accurate and balanced experience.

Key changes in the new update:

New Player Matchmaking Algorithm The developers have redesigned the player matchmaking system based on a new algorithm called Glicko. It will allow faster and more accurate selection of players with similar skill levels and take into account their confidence in rank.

When you search for a match, two captains are automatically assigned based on their ranking and role preference.
Each captain alternately selects players from a pool of eight consisting of the remaining Immortal ranked players.
Once each captain has chosen four players, they are combined into teams and the game begins!
