Guide: Pet all the cats in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in Eurvicscire.

Receiving rewards for petting cats. That’s the heartwarming addition the developers made for “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” “Siege of Paris.”

The animal locations are specifically in Évreux, in northwestern France.

Discovering a cat essentially requires no action; just crouch and approach closer. The character will automatically extend their hand to pet the animal. During this process, as long as Eivor remains seated, the cat will purr and circle around the hero, possibly even following them further. An important note is that if the character is wearing a hood, petting the animal won’t be possible, so Eivor will need to remove the cloak beforehand.

Sometimes, a cat can be found sleeping. In this case, the character won’t touch it to avoid waking it up. There are a few ways to expedite the process.

You can patiently wait for the animal to wake up on its own, which might consume a fair amount of time. Another option is to shoot an arrow nearby the cat, but there’s a risk of harming someone or scaring the creature.

The most optimal approach would be to move to a different location and then return.

It’s not advisable to chase the cats as they will run away, and the chances of the character catching up are practically nil.

Upon arriving in the city, head to the market in Évreux. This location is easy to find. The market is vibrant and bustling.

To reach the market, descend the stairs and turn right. Here, the character will encounter a gray tabby cat. To pet it, simply approach and wait for the interaction prompt.

Near the gray tabby, right by the steps, resides a ginger cat. It has even been spotted right beside it. You can see it both at the market and in the central part of Évreux.

Exiting the market, the hero will find wooden houses behind which a well is located. Right there lives a black cat.

Leaving the city through the eastern exit, Eivor will come across a prominent house, inside of which resides the last cat awaiting affection.

It’s worth noting that not all animals in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla are worth showing affection to, and some should even be feared. For instance, a dog might mistake the character for a threat and growl at them.
