How to activate the demonic goat Easter egg on the Warzone farm animals.
Demonic Goats
In the Season 5 update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, players can experience a brand new multiplayer map called “Animal.” As expected, this map continues the trend of Easter eggs and the strange presence of goats, as seen in recent map releases.
Shortly after domestic animals appeared in the game, players began to notice pairs of animal decoys around the map that would disappear when shot. It was evident that a new Easter egg hunt had begun, similar to the one with the recently released Cheshire Park map.
To trigger the appearance of demonic goats and offer them as sacrifices, you must find and shoot a total of five pairs of animal decoys simultaneously. This means it’s easier to complete this Easter egg with a friend, although it’s possible to do it solo by placing C4 in one of the two locations. Each pair is marked with a unique colored marker on the map.
After shooting the fourth pair of plush animals, the fifth pair (two checkered plush bears) will appear in the center of the map, as indicated by pink markers on the map. Once the fifth pair is shot, the ritual will begin.
You can view the full details of the ritual here.
Meaning
Throughout the previous maps featuring Easter eggs, goats have mysteriously appeared. However, the common theme on these maps is that players destroy animal decoys. In the “Animal” map, goats seek revenge on the player and sacrifice them in the form of a pentagram on the floor.
Clearly, this should be a lighthearted and fun side task for players to embark on without any significant or impressive meaning. It’s just our interpretation, so feel free to let us know if you feel differently!
More Easter Eggs
As Call of Duty: Modern Warfare progresses through new seasons, you can expect more Easter eggs to be uncovered. In the meantime, check out the Easter eggs on previous maps if you haven’t already.
