How to get and find a shovel in Sons of the Forest

A very important item in Sons Of The Forest is the Shovel. If you’re planning on finding a shovel in Sons of the Forest, it’s a lot more difficult than it first appears. You need to study a lot and often stumble upon zombies, since the points of interest, where there is important and cool loot, there is always a large cluster of aggressive zombies. After all, the game is just for survival, and you will have to survive in a cave, where our search for a shovel will be.

The shovel is in a deep cave, to get to it you will need a scuba gear (rebreather) so you can breathe underwater – such a comforting thought – and a rope gun to use as a zipline.

Location (where is) shovels in Sons of the Forest

We are looking for the entrance to the cave to the west of the snowy mountainous region in the game. The place on the map, we showed above, it is located at the very bottom, there are three operatives on the stones that were with us in the helicopter. If you started the game from this region, remember, usually a random point if you started the game in the season – Winter.

To get inside, you need to go through shallow water, it is very dark there and you can easily get lost, so use a lighter (L) or create a torch (cloth, stick), light it and go. This will help you see dark places on the map, and we will help you visually find the place you need + there is a video.

In the cave we find the edge where we use the zipline (trasomet), where you will go to the other side, after which you will have a water pool on the left where you need to go with scuba gear and swim through the tunnel. The path is simple and linear, but dark, we just swim straight until we exit in another cave, where it will already be to the end.

Go straight through the tunnel, where you will go down to the water. Slide down until you find dry land, and again follow the linear tunnel to the largest cave, which will be oddly lit. Look for this light source, next to the flashlight there will be the body of a worker man with the object we need.

In another tunnel, you simply move through a cave where there will be water. Again there will be a little scuba dive, then just follow the narrow path and use the horizontal lights in the distance, then you will see a new dungeon that will be on the other side (you can’t go there), but you will see a shovel on your side.
