The sixth season trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was released today, showing players the upcoming destruction of much of Verdansk, Mason helping Adler bring back the brainwashing, and potentially new weapons that will appear this season.

The trailer shows Adler in an interrogation room almost identical to the one in Black Ops 1, mirroring Mason’s previous experience. Adler is under the influence of Perseus’ brainwashing, and Mason helps him come to his senses.
At the same time, Stitch and his ally defuse several bombs planted by Adler near Verdansk. But a massive explosion still destroys the Stadium and what is apparently the center of the city. Adler laments his actions, but Mason confirms that it wasn’t his fault, since it wasn’t him. Adler and Stitch probably face a final battle in which only one man remains alive.
The trailer also shows Adler holding a rifle, suggesting that there may be a new weapon in season six. In addition, fans will finally get a chance to play as Alex Mason, one of the most iconic characters in Call of Duty history. It’s still unclear how drastic the game’s destruction will be, but fans will likely get exciting new areas to explore in Warzone. Fans will probably also see new items and a new battle pass with more cosmetics.
Earlier today, Treyarch officially unveiled the final Cold War Zombies map, Forsaken, which will be released on October 7 along with Season 6. This massive update will be available for free on all platforms.
