In 1981, as a young graduate of an officer school, you are assigned to serve at a border outpost in the mountainous region of Karikatka, regulated by strict party rules for entry into the territory of the Akaristan People’s Republic. You will have to fight smugglers and bandits who are trying to cross the border and transport illegal cargo.
To ensure security at the border, every visitor must have a complete set of valid documents. You will need to skillfully check these documents, as even the slightest discrepancy can result in denial of entry. Over time, the number of documents will increase, making it harder for you to detect errors.
Additionally, your intelligence will provide you with information about suspicious drivers, and you will have to search their vehicles using a UV flashlight and appropriate tools to extract contraband. You cannot allow any smuggled goods to cross the border.
However, the situation at the border is constantly deteriorating, and you will have to use firearms to defend your post against attacks from the Oberankov gang. Each mission outside the outpost carries the risk of confrontation with the enemy, so you need to be prepared for any challenges in order to successfully fulfill your mission at the border.
