Non-lethal means of influence are available when detaining suspects, while your subordinates can die from a single gunshot wound, which adds a sense of seriousness and responsibility to the leadership role. The goal of the game remains the same – to solve narrative tasks within interactive dialogues, where the choice of response affects the continuation of the story.
In both parts of This Is the Police, players are free to recruit and dismiss personnel, participate in detective investigations and city politics, and develop the storyline according to their own worldview.
