The size of Call of Duty: Vanguard on PC and new consoles will be reduced to 50%.

Activision Blizzard, responding to criticism regarding the storage requirements of the latest update, has decided to reduce the game’s size. A new technology has been developed that can shrink the game’s footprint. Both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War have been on consoles for quite some time. Despite the developers’ efforts to minimize the game’s size, both versions still occupy a significant amount of space.

It’s worth noting that earlier this year, the folks at Activision Blizzard announced the latest update, which would be quite hefty. Consequently, all the games combined won’t fit on a 500GB disk.

According to the latest reports, the game will be considerably more compact compared to previous versions. As stated, the new technology will save approximately 30-50% of space on the storage device.
