Call of Duty: Warzone Playable Weapons.

Many players still ask, “What to play with in Warzone?” Unfortunately, nothing has changed since the first season; everything remains the same. Despite minor nerfs to AUG and M16, they still dominate these seasons. However, we will provide you with interesting loadouts and weapons, both from Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War.

We decided to tell you what’s currently meta in Warzone in the second season. Additionally, we’ll advise those who still play Modern Warfare on what to use now without falling behind the meta of the new Black Ops Cold War weapons.

FFAR-1 Warzone Loadout

An updated version is here (go to). After many nerfs, this is still a strong and powerful weapon. It allows you to play at any range with it. It was the main meta weapon of the first season, killing fully armored opponents in seconds. Many use it as their primary weapon and pick an SMG in the secondary slot (MAC-10, JAK-12, or LC 10). Or they choose a sniper rifle in addition to the FFAR-1.

M16 Warzone Loadout

Among burst weapons, it’s currently the season’s meta, guaranteeing kills with two precise bursts (6 rounds). Many players say it has always been better than the AUG, with higher accuracy and damage, and it kills effortlessly at any range.

Groza Warzone Loadout

After the AUG and M16 nerfs, players have turned to the Groza, as it’s now a strong assault rifle. It serves as a solid foundation, allowing quick kills of squads due to its high damage, accuracy, and mobility. It also has a good iron sight, eliminating the need for a sight attachment, making it even more potent.

MAC-10 Warzone Loadout

One of the strong and meta SMGs from Cold War. It’s often chosen as a secondary weapon, quickly taking out squads due to its high rate of fire and damage, especially when aiming for the head. It allows for fast and mobile movement, helping you push buildings and eliminate enemies. It’s also good from the hip but excels in close quarters.

AUG Warzone Loadout

Before the nerf, both direct and hidden, it was the season’s meta. It fires bursts of 3 rounds, allowing you to kill opponents with 2-3 bursts at close to medium ranges. It’s not as effective at long distances now, as the recoil and spread have increased significantly, requiring 4-5 bursts, which is already 12-15 rounds.

Tundra Warzone Loadout

A sniper rifle that allows you to kill players at long distances. It has excellent rate of fire, increased damage, and minimal bullet drop. This allows you not to worry about the distance between you and your opponents because the bullet almost always hits where you initially aimed.

ZRG 20mm Cold War Warzone Loadout

The latest sniper rifle recently added and yet to be nerfed. It has an unbelievably high DPS, killing with a single shot to the head, shoulder, or chest. It often one-shots opponents to death but sometimes just downs them. However, it’s currently the fastest-firing sniper rifle. It boasts strong damage, range, and rapid fire rate. More details about the sniper rifle.

If you played before the integration of Warzone with Cold War, we’ll also cover old metas that are still viable. Many players haven’t bought the new part, so we’ll provide loadouts for them as well.

M4A1 Warzone Loadout

An excellent assault rifle for beginners. It performs well at medium and close ranges and is a great choice for a primary weapon loadout. For a secondary, it’s recommended to pick RPG-7 to create chaos on the battlefield. Players will fear engaging with you, even if you have some skill issues, as you can take out opponents and secure a good position.

If you want to use this AR for long-range engagements, we recommend this loadout: long barrel, 3x optical scope, and a 60-round magazine.

GRAU Warzone Loadout

The GRAU was heavily nerfed for most of the game’s updates since it was the meta from Season 3 to 5 in Modern Warfare. It’s the strongest assault rifle in the game, with minimal bullet spread, performing exceptionally at long range. Recoil control is easy as it’s straightforward. Many players still use it. The standard iron sight is very convenient, eliminating the need for an optic attachment and freeing up a slot for a more useful feature.

If you don’t like the laser, you can replace it with the XRK “Void” rear grip.

RAM-7 Warzone Loadout

If you’re looking for damage and recoil control, this is the best choice. This rifle is often used for both close and long-range combat. Its main feature is its high fire rate and easy recoil control.

The main difference from other assault rifles is the recoil, which goes left and up, as opposed to the usual pattern. It’s easy to get used to. You’ll enjoy playing with this weapon and be able to break armor from a distance in seconds.

MP5 Warzone Loadout

The most potent submachine gun currently available in Warzone (excluding those from Cold War). It’s always picked as a secondary weapon. Players usually use it after sniping or with a scoped assault rifle. The MP5 deals significant and instant damage due to its high fire rate. When compared to the MP7, the MP5 is faster and stronger, making it the meta in Season 5.

MP7 Warzone Loadout

The second SMG that players often pick as their secondary weapon alongside snipers. It’s frequently used for long-range engagements to finish off wounded opponents. Another advantage is its high hipfire accuracy, low bullet spread, and rapid fire rate.

Kar98k Warzone Loadout

Call of Duty: Warzone Playable Weapons. → photo 46

Perhaps the strongest sniper rifle in the game throughout all seasons since its release. It’s highly mobile, accurate, and powerful at any distance. The Kar98k Warzone loadout gives you an advantage to turn a standard infantry rifle into a powerful sniper rifle, quick to scope in and often killing with a single shot. It scopes in faster than only the SPR, and in terms of long-range capabilities, it’s comparable only to the MW guns.

SP-R Warzone Loadout

Call of Duty: Warzone Playable Weapons. → photo 47

In my opinion, one of the best snipers after the Kar98k. It has strong accuracy, although slightly less damage, typically requiring 2-3 shots for a precise kill. It offers a longer range, bullet velocity, and moderate bullet drop. Additionally, the main advantage of sniper rifles is their quick firing rate and the ability to stay mobile at all times.

HDR Warzone Loadout

Call of Duty: Warzone Playable Weapons. → photo 48

This is a sniper rifle, a true sniper rifle! It’s more suitable for those who like to take higher positions and stay there for a while. It’s one of the most accurate sniper rifles in the game. It deals significant damage to both the body and the head, with maximum bullet velocity, faster than any other rifle. Killing an opponent becomes easier because you’ll need only 1-2 shots to take them down, even with full armor.
