Over 475,000 Cheaters Banned in Call of Duty: Warzone Over a Year.

It’s worth noting that in March 2020, the game Call of Duty: Warzone was released. Over the course of this time, developers have banned 475,000 cheater accounts that used cheats in Warzone. This is the number that developers announced today in their blog.

The most recent ban wave occurred on April 12, when an additional 30,000 accounts were banned for using prohibited software to gain an advantage in the game. This marks the seventh ban wave in a year. Additionally, they have started banning accounts that exploit bugs (bug abusers).

Developers once again mentioned that they monitor the cheat market for Warzone and other games, and they even purchase cheats themselves. They also keep track of all cheat updates to understand what they need to protect their game against.

Furthermore, they conducted a small cleanup by completely disabling accounts that they had already banned. Most importantly, they marked those who buy or download cheats for Warzone. In April, they found the most popular cheat distributor who was spreading malicious software to steal personal and credit card information from unsuspecting cheat downloaders.
