YEKINDAR Takes the Helm: Team Liquid’s New Captain

Team Liquid, the esports club, is considering Marek “YEKINDAR” Galinskis for the role of captain in their CS:GO roster. According to sources from Dust2.us, the club aims to bolster the team’s firepower and is evaluating strong fraggers for this position. In case they can’t secure an experienced and successful in-game leader, the captain’s role will be entrusted to Galinskis.

Prior to this, Team Liquid players noted that Galinskis often takes initiative and coordinates the team’s actions in certain situations. He already stepped up as the main captain during the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 when nitr0 couldn’t fully prepare for the tournament due to the birth of his child.

It’s worth mentioning that Nick “nitr0” Cannella recently left Team Liquid’s roster and retired from professional gaming. The club has yet to finalize the main candidates for the CS:GO lineup. The next tournament on the horizon for the team is the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023.
