New patch for “Elden Ring” improves a boss that was accidentally nerfed

Bandai Namco has announced the release of a minor patch for Elden Ring, which will roll out today, April 4, 2022, across all platforms. The patch strengthens some of the attacks of the boss Starscourge Radahn, who was unintentionally weakened in the last game version.

Version 1.03 of Elden Ring was released last month and brought numerous changes to the game. However, one of them was unintentional: the notorious tricky Radahn became much weaker than intended when using certain attacks. As a result, a new version 1.03 has been released today.

The only note about the patch states: “In update 1.03, an error in the balance setting of the boss “Starscourge Radahn” has been corrected, resulting in the unintentional reduction of the strength of some attacks.”

The patch is rolling out today on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.

Players on the Elden Ring subreddit widely welcomed the changes. Naldo273 commented, “During my second playthrough, he was a complete joke. You could just roll around and watch the NPCs push him around. I don’t know what people were thinking when they made that decision. God forbid one of the most epic bosses in From’s history doesn’t wipe you out on the first try.”
