New Method Found to Activate PlayStation Codes in Russia

We remind you that official PlayStation game stores in Russia are no longer operational, which means there are almost no options to obtain games or top up your balance. Only PSN codes that can be activated through the mobile app remain. Some resourceful individuals have already found ways to activate games on the PS differently.

In Russia, you can currently activate PSN codes through older-generation consoles: PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita. This way, you can add games to your account and access all the add-ons, as recently players were able to download Dawn of Ragnarok for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Some even extended their PS Plus subscriptions.

The duration of this workaround’s availability is unknown, but it may help some people settle debts and extend subscriptions in the PlayStation store. However, developers may close this method soon.
