The inaugural Aurora Deadlock cybersports tournament wrapped up this weekend
The first Aurora Deadlock cybersport tournament ended this weekend. Based on the data collected after the tournament, a TIR list of the most effective and least effective characters was compiled.
So, here is the TIR list:
The most valuable characters were Dynamo and Kelvin due to their control and utility.
The best tanks are Abrams and Viscous. But even the less popular tanks Shiv and Mo&K were still quickly dealt with as teams preferred to play through two tanks.
The Vindicta was a special moment. It ended up in the A-tier thanks to the coolest play of MikaelS. Question – is this just an effect of the top player’s skill or has Vindicta always been underrated?
Lash, Pocket, and Paradox were often banned despite rarely appearing in publicks. Wraith, on the other hand, was always peaked quickly and Warden was taken by winners more often, which raised his ranking.
C-type heroes that were taken in almost every match – they are strong, but were not considered “Imbs”.
D-type – heroes that were rarely picked up, which is surprising for Ivy, which is generally considered strong.
E-tyr – heroes who weren’t piked at all. Especially surprising with Bebop – perhaps other heroes just did a better job with his role or teams thought he was hard to fit into the lineup.
What do you guys think? Personally, I feel like Vindicta and Lash will rise to the top, while Ivy, Bebop and Seven were underrated.
