Aurora Gaming has officially announced a major Deadlock tournament, Valve’s newest game, set to take place on September 6-7, 2024. The tournament will feature four teams led by well-known streamers: Recrent, Sunset, Jamside, and MikaelS. Although the full list of players has yet to be revealed, excitement around the event is already high.
The prize pool for the tournament is $10,000, making it a significant event for both players and viewers. This tournament promises to be a key moment for the growing Deadlock community, a game that has already garnered a lot of attention despite still being in development. Currently, Deadlock is only available through invites from players who already have access. The game has not yet been released on Steam, but this hasn’t stopped it from achieving impressive player numbers, with over 150,000 concurrent users.
This isn’t the first Deadlock tournament. Recently, streaming platform BetBoom hosted the world’s first streamer tournament for the game, which also featured four teams.
