New major update 1.20.0 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone

Today, on April 28-29, a new update 1.20.0 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone has been released. More details about what to expect in the new patch are discussed in this article.

PLAYLIST UPDATE

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

• Gunfight Mode plan
• Reinfected Ground War in the Multiplayer
• 3v3 Gunfight in Cranked mode
• Shoot the Ship mode available 24/7 (including Cranked and Grind modes)

Call of Duty: Warzone

• Solos, Trios, and Squads
• Trios in “Plunder” mode
• Most Wanted Contract – Instead of marking a random operator on your Tac Map, you voluntarily assign a bounty to yourself, visible to all teams in Verdansk. Of course, this significant risk will bring a great reward.

Today’s update weighs approximately 15 GB and is required to access Modern Warfare on PlayStation and Xbox.

Once you install the patch and select a mode (multiplayer, campaign, special operations, etc.), you will be redirected to the in-game installation menu. From this menu, you will need to download Data Pack 1. After the download is complete, you will need to close and reopen the game.

GENERAL FIXES

• The Challenges tab has been added to the main multiplayer screen for easier access.
• Precision Airstrike sound has been adjusted to follow the aircraft more accurately.
• A bug allowing players to create custom weapon blueprints using KBM in Game Battles, which could then be used in multiplayer or Warzone, has been fixed.
• Previously, when someone spoke, the text appeared in white regardless of the team. Now, enemy players’ text will appear in red.
• An issue with Hackney Yard during Infected mode has been fixed.
• A bug preventing players from engaging in hand-to-hand combat with an enemy while on an ATV has been fixed.
• An elongated, glitched character model display issue for Talon during squad walking due to the last update has been fixed.
• Some emblems from Season 3 displaying incorrect text have been corrected.
• An issue with Kreuger’s character eyes during finishing moves has been fixed.
• A bug with some watches appearing in the wrong position during gestures has been fixed.
• An issue preventing players from selecting their favorite faction in the Operator menu has been fixed.
• A bug causing white glows to appear when moving or firing weapons near certain locations has been fixed.
• A gamepad-only Deadzone option has been added, allowing players to adjust the inner range where stick input will not register.
• An issue preventing party members from editing their CDL loadouts with CDL Quick Play filter enabled has been fixed.
• An issue where auto-voice chat was disabled when opening in-game chat has been fixed.
• An issue preventing players from using mouse wheel up/down to zoom on Tac Map has been fixed.

WEAPONS

• A bug where completing final SKS challenges unlocked Renetti camos has been fixed.
• A bug where unlocking SKS camos conflicted with other marksman rifle camo challenges has been fixed.
• The appearance of the “Hard Wired” skin for Alex in thermals while Cold Blooded was equipped has been fixed.

WARZONE UPDATE 1.20.0

• The inability to view available XP tokens in the Warzone menu has been fixed.
• An issue where after returning to a match, a player couldn’t drop with their team and a problem with requesting a revive when the player was still alive has been fixed.
• The speed and overall size of the circle have been adjusted.
• In BR Solos, a truck with reduced turning speed, acceleration, and maximum speed has been added back.
• The scoreboard has been moved to be visible in the pause menu.
• An issue where the After-Action Report didn’t display team total merits has been fixed.
• A bug preventing players from equipping Armor Plates while Dead Silence was active has been fixed.
• A new item, the Armor Satchel, has been added. Finding one allows you to carry up to 8 armor plates instead of the previous 5. The satchel drops after a player’s death and can be looted by other players. It initially contains no armor plates but increases the player’s carrying capacity. It replaces the gas mask as the guaranteed item for completing Scavenger contracts.
• The gas mask remains a rare item available for purchase at Buy Stations.
• Plunder: Plunder Rating

After completing a Plunder match, players now receive a rating in the form of coins: bronze, silver, gold, platinum, etc. The coin rank depends on the amount of money earned by your team. Collect over 3.5 million to find out the highest rank!

SPECIAL OPERATIONS

• A bug where the USEF 1 skin for the Mil-Sim operator appeared in default skins in co-op has been fixed.
• Ammunition boxes are now available in the shelter at the start of each operation.
• Rare situations where players could respawn during the Last Stand phase or begin self-reviving but still bleed out have been fixed.
• An issue where a player’s downed icon color could quickly change from blue to red immediately after a successful revive has been fixed.
• A bug with a floating syringe during the revival of another player on the team has been fixed.
• Sound issues with helicopters have been fixed.
• Operation Crosswind: Various situations where players could get stuck outside the plane while the rest of the team regrouped have been fixed.

Also, situations where a player would give an armored tag but not receive visible armor have been fixed.

• Operation Harbinger: Players can now enter the shelter earlier and capture the first piece of intel faster after the dialogue with Komarov.

Sound disappearing for a large truck has been fixed.

PC

• A bug causing users to see distorted outlines around their character models and weapons when using the Vega64 graphics processor has been fixed.
• A crash occurring for players using GeForce 900 series graphics cards when loading the Crosswind mission has been fixed.
