Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update VIII: Iberia
Asobo Studio and Microsoft have finally, after a short delay, rolled out another world update in Microsoft Flight Simulator. It is called World Update VIII: Iberia and is dedicated, of course, to Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Gibraltar.
As usual, the developers have added many hand-created airports, monuments, photogrammetric cities and so on. Added 100 airports in Spain and Portugal, plus another 1000 “lost” airports around the world. Six photogrammetric cities – Lisbon, Barreiro, Malaga, Bilbao, Cascais and Coimbra. Four improved airports – La Seu d’Urgell, Pico, Faro and La CoruΓ±a. Somewhere around 100 attractions. 4 journeys, 5 familiarization flights, 5 challenges. In addition, the 1.24.5 patch fixed a number of bugs.
Very cool and the new update looks really good, but… Very important Asobo Studio and Microsoft, as what before to make the next update about us, about Ukraine! It would be a really symbolic gesture. Ukraine also has many beautiful places and monuments of culture and nature. Yes, some airports and cities are now destroyed and damaged by the Russian invaders, but if Asobo Studio reproduces their original state in Microsoft Flight Simulator, that would be really cool! Plus, there are plenty of glorious airplanes in Ukraine, too. I think you were going to add An-2, but for some reason changed your mind after the war started? Maybe it is just in time? And there are also An-22, An-124, An-225. Let them fly in the peaceful virtual skies of Ukraine!
Dear @Xbox and @AsoboStudio. How about World Update IX: Ukraine?
There are having many beautiful places and monuments here. Yes, right now many of airports and sights destroyed by Russian invaders, but this is one more reason to recreate them in MSFS and support Ukraine!
